         As president of the UC Berkeley chapter of Delta Gamma, I invite you to explore our website. Through our photo gallery, events calendar, as well as our scholarship and philanthropy facts, you can get a glimpse into what Delta Gamma life is all about at Cal. Our chapter has been a presence on the Cal campus for over 100 years, and thousands of women have lived the principles of Delta Gamma and shared them with the Berkeley community. Delta Gamma offers women of all ages a rich heritage upon the ideals of personal integrity, philanthropy, intellectual honesty, and above all, Doing Good. Our primary purpose is to foster high ideals of friendship, promote educational and cultural interests, create a true sense of social responsibility, and develop the finest qualities of character.

         Gamma Chapter has a tradition of excellence. In the 2017-2018 school year, our chapter earned cumulative GPA average of 3.54, ranking us among the highest in acadmeic performance in the Cal National Panhellenic Council community and also in Delta Gamma nationally. In Spring 2012, Cal's National Panhellenic Council awarded us a plaque for being the campus women's fraternity with the "Best Year-Round Service." In the course of the school year, our chapter gives over one thousand hours in service to the visually impaired though Delta Gamma's philanthropic program, Service for Sight. Since then, we have consistency placed in the top 5 out of all Delta Gamma chapters for our outstanding number of service hours. 

           Still, our academic and philanthropic achievements fail to demonstrate completely what being a Cal DG is about. Through our membership, we have all made close and lasting friendships, gained a widespread support system, and found a second home. DG offers a study buddy, a friend with whom to go on any adventure, and a confidant. As DGs, we applaud each other's successes, and help each other through individual struggles. Our chapter is made up of women of diverse individual talents, goals, and achievements brought together by a commitment to unwavering and unconditional friendship. I am proud to be part of this chapter of women who inspire me on a daily basis and enrich my life with their humor, support and intelligence.
